Fluidity and rhythm are fundamental to our natural world, with resonance being an aspect that has physical, metaphorical and psychological connotations.
A way to engender appropriately fluent thinking is through interactive engagement with water that is contained, marked and moved in various ways. Such engagement can begin to mobilise and transform our imaginative faculties. It offers a wonderful example of Goethe's sensitive and enlivening approach to scientific inquiry.
Language spoken at Mas Vilalte will be English, with French interpreters present.
This extended weekend workshop is an initiative of the School for Water of the Foundation for Water, based at Emerson College UK, together with the International Flowform Association.
Mas Vilalte is to be one of several in-person venues worldwide, linked by one reasonably brief Zoom sharing on each of three days. To explore the theme, participants in different continents can undertake similar simple water experiments and reflective exercises. Guidelines will be shared with registered participants in advance.
