31 July – 2 August 2026

A practical and experiential course exploring water mysteries, flow phenomena and sacred geometry.

With Nigel Wells and Daniel Docherty.

What are the inherent qualities of water flow on land and in the seas?

During this course, meander patterns, vortices and waves will be explored. We will create models of meandering landscapes in clay and set up flow experiments in order to observe the rhythmical life of water as it is pulled through the landscape by gravity.

We will also explore some of the wonderful patterns that can manifest in the different states of water.

Our observations of different flow patterns in nature will be accompanied by insights into the nature of pattern through exercises and contemplative studies in sacred geometry.

Location: SAOG Studios The Water Building Emerson Forest Row East Sussex RH18 5JX United Kingdom.
